If you think about the nature of something like hacker news, you have to expect a lot of odd-looking international transfers.</div><div><br></div><div>So paypal isn't a fit for hackernews. Yeah, I have a separate checking account at my main bank just for<br>
"money in" -- client ACH, tax refunds (sigh), other transfers.<br>

For Paypal, I use an account at a completely separate bank, to really <br>
limit "what might go wrong."<br>
