Few of those jobs paid better than minimum wage — and drug dealing was financially remunerative. The temptation to go back to it was irresistible, which is why he ended up back in jail for another trip.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">He ended up flipping houses, initially with my brother, and now on his own. Really crappy houses in Providence, in neighborhoods that scare me. But I guess it’ a living.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Not everyone has what it takes to go into business for himself, though.
