It appears that my mom is about ready to make her transition. They put <br>
her in the hospital yesterday and have her in ICU. I'm leaving now for <br>
the four hour drive to see her. We haven't been close since I was a <br>
toddler, so any grieving will be minimal.<br>

Anyway, I'll be checking in when I can, but I'll probably be mostly <br>
incognito for the next few days. I'll be close to Asheville, so maybe <br>
SJVN and I can get together.<br>
