<div dir="ltr">IMO, this was an attempted software fix for a hardware design problem. They shifted the engines forward because they were too large to fit under the wing, changing the balance of the plane. Pretty long piece, but I think it does a good job of explaining the <br>
problems behind the Max's two tragedies. The technology evidently wasn't <br>
the only failure point here.<br>
