Maybe you could scale up by creating a bunch of impressive

whole army of sources and might never even have to come up with
any new material. Corporate types are always impressed by

a little piece of the pie. It's foolproof. ;)
Ebyline, where I have a free account, in addition to periodically
sending me client article pitches/offers, usually for some mix of
way-off-my-turf's and low-ball rates at best, also periodically
sends me these messages:

Update Your Ebyline Profile
Hi Daniel,

Based on previous clips & publications you added to you
Ebyline profile,
we've found 1 recent work example(s) for your portfolio
including:

Which in theory is fine, but their engine has a dubious sense of
"examples" and "recent." Many things they find are citations or
other not-really-a-work, and then, like today's message, are
indeed articles that I have written:

Website basics: How to make your web presence press-friendly
-Make contacts and press releases findable and accessible for
when
journalists come calling.

but fail the "recent" -- this one being from ITWorld.com, August
2, 2010

I have, a few times, pinged them about these low-rent messages;
eByline unapologetically more or less (I'd have to check my email
files) says, "Yeah, that's the way our search algorithm does, or
doesn't, work..."

But it'd good to know their site is thinking about me, I guess :-|
