    <p>Took my former company, publicly traded, to an initial call with
      five different analysts in NYC one short week. Gartner was the
      most open about it. The more you were researched, the more
      visibility was received, and the more "accurately" you might be
      rated. The next few sentences inferred an analogy with a
      competitor, relating how with much research, they were now better
      known and that visibility was probably good for them.<br>
    </p>
    <p>Your experiences aside, that was my experience.</p>
    <p>I believe very little from the analyst firms, taking their
      renderings as anecdotal. In the ecosystem of entrepreneurship,
      they're one large cog in the process and they know it. I believe
      only RedMonk. <br>

              aren't worth doodley.</p>
