I just checked the Skype Terms of Use at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement/ which states in
3(ii) ". APIs or Broadcasting. If you want to use Skype in connection with any broadcast, you must comply with the "Broadcast TOS" at https://www.skype.com/legal/broadcast. If you want to use any application program interface ("API") exposed or made available by Skype you must comply with the applicable licensing terms, which are available at www.skype.com/go/legal."
When you pop over to /broadcast you have to poke around and then you find https://www.skype.com/en/legal/broadcast/ then pop over to the "broadcast" you find this...
“(a)For any Program where use of the Skype software will be fifteen (15) minutes or less in duration, You shall transmit an identification announcement at the beginning and end of such use, as described in the Skype Broadcast Guidelines;
(b) For any Program where the use of the Skype software will be fifteen (15) minutes or more in duration You shall transmit an identification announcement at the beginning and end of such use and over the course of the Program in no less than fifteen (15) minute intervals, as described in the Skype Broadcast Guidelines;”
The Broadcast Guidelines are at https://www.skype.com/content/dam/scom/pdf/skype-broadcast-guidelines.pdf

Because Skype has terms and conditions regarding licensing and usage. You’ll sometimes see news interview video with the Skype logo in the corner, too. Don’t remember what the T&Cs say about it, but there *is* something…
