I’m not going either, so I’ll miss the robotic laundry experience.
But I’m not going because it’s not a good use of my time.

Fellow Guilders,
I'm not going this year. CES tracks that it would be my 42nd year.
One of the six thousand+ reasons I'm not going is embodied in the spirit
of this message:
Hello Tom,
Last year we came to CES with a mockup of FoldiMate, the robotic laundry
folder that quickly folds your laundry into neat piles so you can easily
put them away. This year, we’d love for you to bring your laundry to the
show … FoldiMate is bringing a fully functioning prototype!
See at https://foldimate.com (updated press kit will be available
nearer to CES)
FoldiMate takes all the time consuming work out of folding your laundry.
Just clip your shirts, blouses, pants and towels into the FoldiMate
clips and GO! Its ingenious design automatically adapts to the size of
your garments and can whip through an entire load of laundry in just a
few minutes. Now you can spend more time doing the things you want to do
and your closets and drawers will thank you too!
Would you like to try FoldiMate out for yourself? Let me know if I can
set up an appointment for you (and bring your laundry). We'll be at
Unveiled and CES at Sands, Halls A-D - booth #42361.
Thanks for your time Tom.

I wish I could write a SciFi story about the laundry folder gone wrong,
how some Moldbanians were able to hack it, connecting to the NE USA
power grid, hijacking it, only to be thwarted by The Dress That Could
Not Be Folded, which caused it to kernel dump.
