[Ipg-smz] The decline of newspapers

At the Overseas Weekly, a GI newspaper in Germany, we published in the
1970s a front-page headline, in 72 points, expressing joy that many GIs
would be going home early.The one word headline:

         S U P R I S E  ! !

did not surprise our German typesetters - and we noticed it only after it
had been sitting on or desks for an hour or so.
