Their commercial customers would be miffed – they run email for Rogers in Canada, and BT in the UK, that I know of. I have been griping at Rogers about the ‘service’ for a long time.

Verizon admits it's not making money with its AOL and Yahoo purchases. Does that mean that one day Yahoo Mail might simply get shut off?

(Perhaps with 30 days notice for folks to download their emails.)

At my public library job, I tell people who use Yahoo Mail that it's a good idea to have another email account - whether that be Gmail, iCloud, or Live.com

If you're standing on one leg, it can be uncomfortable to have that leg ripped away from under you.
