[Ipg-smz] Does Gartner or Forrester offer comp accounts to small fry researchers?

I can kind of a see a media pass of some kind, like something less than
full access to all their reports, etc., as part of a marketing plan.

But why in the world would they offer comp accounts to other researchers -
their competitors, regardless of size?
