[Ipg-smz] What happens when Linux keeps getting better and better?

Sigh. I've worked exclusively in a Linux environment for sixteen years
and have a completely different experience, even though the MSCE folks
where I work are constantly dumbfounded that I can do anything that's
not server related on Linux.

In fact I do less and less of my work on Linux these days. I am open for an open dialogue. Beyond very basic computing where users are not doing much complicated work, it’s not usable. I can tell you I have asked many ‘Linux’ and open source folks, even they don’t use Linux for personal use. I can’t give out names but they all include top shots of the Linux and open source world and NO I am not talking about Linux Foundation. I feel sad because everytime I switch my hands to the Linux system I stare at it sadly as there is not much productive work I can do there. Everyone’s milage is different.
