Fellow Guilders,

The summary is that I've e-published a detective novel under the name of 
Samuel D Carter. The name is my late great grandfather's, who perished 
in the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic, whilst living in Lake St Mary's Ohio. 
He was an immigrant from County Wexford, Ireland. The current Sam needs 
your help. It's a little tricky, and if you mess up, it costs you $4.99.

The novel will become e-published on Nov 18th. That's not far from now. 
I need you to order it, then cancel. Doing this pimps the AI at various 
publishers, making them think there is pre-sale demand for the book. It 
puts it on the charts which in turn, triggers other AI to do advanced 
orders themselves. You would/could cancel on Nov 17th. Doing this costs 
you nothing, but might make the book sell.

Q. Is the book good?

A. Judge for yourself, if you're into softboiled detective novels. I 
have read hundreds and hundreds of them; this is technically my 15th 
book, but my first novel. The others are long gone. Some were translated 
into Serbian. I doubt this one will be. I'm a fan of the classic 
hardboiled detective novels, but this is a hybrid. I wrote it a few 
years ago, but polished, buffed, and lacquered it only recently. It took 
a while to do the cover art, and my good friend Don Gerya painted it. 
Some of you may remember him as one of the managers at CBGBs in NYC, 
years ago.... now retired and painting.

Q. Ok, how do I start?

A. Here's the list of how to do it, and remember to cancel if you don't 
want to be charged!!!

     -Amazon: No, it's not there yet. Distribution is through 
Smashwords, so see the next entry. Ultimately, it might be at Amazon. 
Let's give others a chance.

     -Barnes and Noble: Surf to BN.COM and in the top search blank, 
enter Liquid Absolution and the book pops up. Pre-order the book and 
proceed to checkout. Cancel by Nov 17th, otherwise you own it.

It isn't a great secret who Samuel D Carter is. I'm trying only to 
prevent myself from getting dox'd. Otherwise, I'd use my own name. There 
is a second book in the series, arriving around the first of April 2019. 
A third non-fiction book will be released around that time, it's 
tentatively titled: 101 Stupid PR Tricks, A Guide For PR Newbies.

You can sample the book, buy it, or simply help me by pre-ordering it, 
then canceling the order, which has the effect of building pressure.

I warn that it's R-rated, bordering perhaps on X. Not for children and 
teens..... or at least the ones from my generation.
