[Ipg-smz] Need a term for future commonplace tech for a short story

Thinking about how the jargon developed over the years for what we have
now, how about "3point"?  As in "use your 3point to scroll around your
virtual view of the room".

I tried "3mouse", but that seems a little, um, cute -- where is the tail
that gave the original mouse its name?
