[Ipg-smz] Seeking some self-pub help (for my flash length kids stories)

I've got a bunch of short-short (150-3,000 word) stories (my "Dern Grim
Bedtime Tales, Few of Which End Well, & Other Stories) aimed at kids (I've
been doing readings at Arisia, Boskone and several WorldCons, some
libraries, etc) that I'm overdue to Make Easily Available.
(Yes, I can and should be submitting them to sf/etc pubs'n'sites, but
that's outside the scope of this query.)
While one approach is to gin them into books/booklets (e- or otherwise),
given their brevity -- most will fit on one or both sides of a sheet of
paper -- I'm looking at making them available as $1-$2 e- and
deadtree-thingies, like single songs, etc. And perhaps a book. As long as
anyone can click and buy 'em quickly and easily.
I have done lots of research (web, books, event sessions, etc) on the
process of, to borrow a term of art (a title of one of her wonderful
books) from Teresa Nielsen Hayden, on "making book." My brain teems with
info about ISBN and barcodes and Library of Congress et c.
I'm looking for some help. Whether it's simply an hour or three of
consulting and handholding, or more, like words-to-done, I dunno.
All I know is, doing nothing is not moving this project along. And
reading, or looking at, the stack of books on this, same result.
Feel free to reply off-list or on-list.
Thanks,
Grimly,
DPD
