[Ipg-smz] Flu shot made my friend sick - any advice?

A friend of mine who recently moved to a very rural part of New Hampshire
is sick. I hadn't talked to him in a few weeks and found out earlier today
that he's been sick for over a week starting the day after he got a flu
shot. Doctors he's seen insist it has "nothing" to do with the flu shot,
but have no idea what's wrong with him. The main system is he feels achy
and nauseous all the time. A number of his other friends have told him
anecdotally that people get sick from flu shots all the time. I have no
idea.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this and found
anything useful in terms of curing or dealing with it.
