[Ipg-smz] Flu shot made my friend sick - any advice?

The flu shot does have recognized side effects, and they're listed.

We usually ignore them, because we should take the flu shot.

But one of them, depression and suicidal thoughts, hit my daughter hard.

She was just about to head to Vienna when we decided to get the shot at
Costco. She was already very worried about the trip, and what would face
her when she got there.

She kind of went crazy for a few days there. Right through the trip, she
was calling her mom from every airport, crying, talking about failure. It
was terrible. My wife took the brunt of it, because our daughter was scared
to talk to me about it, fearing I'd dismiss the symptoms.

Anyway. She got to Vienna. She's fine. The feelings subsided and she's in
class today.

But it was a tough deal. Hope she doesn't get the flu
