[Ipg-smz] New Macbooks and Imacs will brick themselves if they think they're being repaired by an independent technician

Since the reporters couldn’t verify the bricking when they tried a hardware component swap, and said the machines ran perfectly, this would seem to be what’s now called #fakenews. 

Either that or I’m completely misunderstanding the original story. -A
