The web shows this appeared in August 2017, but I'm seeing it in my
paper Sept 2018 issue, which doesn't appear to be online yet, other than 
the abstract.

In assessing the validity of security claims, assurance cases are an 
effective approach to help refine the claims, collect detailed evidence, 
narrow options, and structure a convincing and valid argument to justify 
the resulting decision.
