Depending on how the insurer phrases/packages things, it's "Errors & 
Omissions" and/or Professional Liability.

(Note, it's a requirement, not negotiable, so please don't bother 
suggesting that. She plans to adjust her proposal pricing to reflect this 
added cost.)

After more than a decade, I'm back to contracting on small Open Source software 
application customization projects.

I've been confronted by my first customer ( a large post-secondary institution 
north of Cambridge :-) with a demand for Professional Liability insurance "in 
an amount of not less than $1,000,000 each claim for all professional services 
and $2,000,000 aggregate."

Does anyone have recommendations for good (read: as cheap as possible) insurers 
to provide this?
