I’d have to dig it out of the Joe Garagiola book, but IIRC, Yogi Berra attended one of the Yankees’ old-timers games, and stood next to (other player) while watching the “players we’ve lost in the last year” list scroll across the scoreboard. “Gee, I hope I never see my name up there,” Berra said.
