[Ipg-smz] Twitter is doing a bad job of canceling reported spurious accounts

This account followed me about three weeks ago. When I followed back, I started receiving suspicious Direct Messages (DM's.)

I reported the spurious account to Twitter. About two days later Twitter indicated to me that the account was indeed spurious -- imitating someone else.

And then another week goes by and they don't cancel this account.

What's the purpose of reporting spurious accounts if Twitter acknowledges the account is spurious, but doesn't cancel it?

I'm happy to be a source if anyone wants to write an article on this issue.

Here is the fine person this account is pretending to be.
