Keep in mind, there are some lovely free tools for creating images -- including Inkscape, GIMP, Paint . net, and the pixlr .com web site . 

These days, I'm pushing myself to do more of my creative work on 4K monitors -- so a tool such as the one above has expanded possible 
uses when you have so many pixels to work with.
