[Ipg-smz] How about a regular meeting?

There's a newsletter for which I write one 600-word thing each month for $250. Takes me less a couple of hours, at most, to do during an evening, and it's fun to write something in a different space. (It’s not in tech.) I’ve been doing this for several years.
My familiar editorial contact there left at the end of December, and there's a brand-new contact. He wrote this morning:
>> Can you do a standing meeting every Monday at 10AM for 30 minutes (or less)?
I could have asked why, or asked for money, but given I have a day job, my response was simply:
>> I’ll politely decline the regular meeting. To be direct, that’s not good use of time for a low-paying side gig. Thanks for offering, though.
His reply was a simple "OK. That is fine."
