What an appalling waste of cliche and expectation setting :-|

That said, while, like Alfred, I do have a boilerplate response (several 
versions, in fact), I'm non-auto-responding... because (for the ones I 
care about) this is my chance to do some handshaking and relationship 
building... especially since I won't be there to do it in person. ("What 
happens in Vegas will have to happen without me.")

OTOH, since I didn't get on this year's press list, just Pepcom and 
ShowStoppers, plus whatever legacy lists I'm still on, the flow has been 
modest and manageable so far -- less than 150 (from exhibits, etc - not 
counting some dozens of direct-from-CES-about-the-show-proper msgs). So 
far.

Alfred, any rough sense of how many your autoresponder has autoresponded 
to, so far?
