No, Mac, you don't hate computers. What you hate is the monetization
and exploitation of computer products at the expense of the users and
their experience with said products. Computers are just tools. And
when the maker of our tools break them for no good reason TO US, tempers
flare.
Microsoft puts us on the treadmill with all their software manipulation.
Apple puts us on the treadmill with their repair policies coupled with
their manufacturing decisions. And these two companies are not alone --
quality control and life cost is tacked on, not a core specification,
with profit being the first core specification. (Remember the old
Zenith ad? "The quality goes in before the name goes on. LG
Electronics bought control of the company, by the way.)
