The site still has hidden city ticketing. Sometimes the airlines don't
like you, and a recent emblematic international flight incident was
designed to shock people into not buying hidden city tickets. Going from
IND to BCN through Paris is cheaper than IND to CDG. Thanks, Delta. I
book to BCN and get off in Paris. Passport control doesn't care. Delta
has been known to void any one way ticket or actually attempt to charge
people for doing this.
Nonetheless, I do it any time it saves me money. I have zero love of the
airlines, this contempt earned after 2.5million flight miles. None of
the airlines are your friends in the USA. Southwest might be the most
egalitarian, but not the least expensive, restrictions also considered.
I can go from Indy to Minneapolis for $390 round trip. Or I can go to
Bozeman for $105 (on sale) stepping off in Minneapolis, then Minneapolis
-> Atlanta arriving in Indyfor $88, therefore each with Indy in the
middle as one-way tickets. What do you do with the extra $200 you saved?
Buy stuff for your grandchildren and flip the bird at the MBAs that
price fares who have special places in the Heironymus Bosch pictures of
hell.
