[Ipg-smz] Baltimore's ransomeware attack costs $18 million so far

Would it be naive to say that this ransomeware attack could have been avoided - or minimized - if 
Baltimore government computers used Linux? Security is not my area of expertise, but I sure have 
been wondering about this question a lot.
