[Ipg-smz] In praise of compassionate police officers

Some of you might know that my older sister, in the New York area, lives with mental illness. Twice in the past three months 
a compassionate police officer has intervened to help her get to hospital for treatment. I have not met this officer, but I have heard 
that he handled the situation with graciousness and dignity towards my sister. 

As we so often hear about the bad apples in the police force, let's not forget about the very good ones whose story does not often 
get told.
