What century is this from? None of those OSes are supported any more, hence, no patches. The company owning those systems is suicidal!

 

I wonder what their idea of “new” technology is ….

OK, I just received this from a recruiter. I'm not sure who wrote this but see if you can find the MAJOR discrepancy in this job requirements listing:

 

Required Skills and Experience:

*         Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3 servers with knowledge of NT4.0

*         User Account administration

*         File and Printer administration

*         Patch administration and deployment

*         Fine-tune the system for optimal performance

*         Troubleshooting Clusters and related issues in a SAN environment

*         Experience in atleast one backup tool – BackupExec /Netbackup /Arcserve/ Legato

*         Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue

*         Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.

*         Must have aptitude and attitude to learn / work on new technologies.
