Did you actually look at the articles, which repeatedly cite and link to news sources, or just dismiss it out of hand because you don’t agree with it?

Look at the Mercola site, briefly, then ask yourself whether Google should be finding this the answer to any health-related question. Case closed.

Agreed on all points, Richi. A quick glance at the link suggests to me the algorithm is doing a great job filtering out crap traffic.

Cry me a river. Several points here:

1.	Mercola's SERPS authority has presumably been downgraded. There will be a reason for this, but he doesn't know what it is. Typically the reason is black-hat SEO.
2.	He asserts that the reason is actually that Wikipedia has it in for him. He offers no evidence that I can see.
3.	He criticizes Wikipedia for giving a balanced overview of his—let's not mince words—quackery and extreme politics.
4.	He also criticizes Wikipedia for not permitting primary sources. He's either willfully ignorant of what this actually means and why it's a good idea, or he's being disingenuous.
5.	Live by the sword; die by the sword.
