That's 1 journalism client out offor 5, 2 portfolio pieces out of 12.
I'm not arguing that one can't have a full and rich life writing for vendors. But your current career, no matter how wonderful it may be, is no counterexample to the idea that David Needle is "one of the last tech journalists".
