Yeah, soap operas are probably a bad source for technically accurate references to blockchain.

I just randomly turned on the TV to get a weather report and there is a soap opera on where one character was explaining the company's tech to the other: "Yeah, the interface is very complex. Our financials are protected by a blockchain, cryptographically.... " I had to stop listening.

 

OMG, I think I'm gonna hurl.
