Welcome Mark.
The value of this real estate has just appreciated now that you are here!

I don't think we have any red carpet left. There's an entryway-size swatch of lime green shag leftover from the 70s that will have to do. But, hey, welcome anyway, Mark.
Thanks,
Ken

A little capsule history. A bunch of us (yes, I am a "founding member")
took over a news group, much to the disgust of other readers of the
newsgroup. So SVJN put up the first iteration of the IPG mailing list.
We've been growing ever since.
What was the trigger event? The "RIMM JOB" that was the cover story for
Time magazine. It was so full of misinformation about the Internet that
it just struck us as so wrong. We also had the fear that newbies on the
Internet beat wouldn't have a trusted touchstone to help them learn
about the place.
(When you reply to a message, check the To: and Cc: if you want to
narrow the scope of your missive. The default is to reply to the list.)
