[Ipg-smz] The train from hell?

When I Iived in Germany I was reading a book on a train from Frankfurt aM
and wondered when the train would depart as it seemed a few minutes late. I
looked out the window to discover that we were halfway out of the station
without me noticing because it was so smooth.

By contrast, the Philly-to-DC train rattled and rocked and jolted—when it
finally started up an hour late!
