Apparently, Sergey Brin is still learning how the web works. Quite understandable. Tech is just not his thing. 

I can volunteer time to help -- because with $48 billion, he might be cash strapped. 

Cash strapped and not sure of how the web works. 

I'll help him. Just my small way of giving back to those in need. 

After I help him set up a web site, I'll explain to him how web searching works. 

Even if he doesn't have a clue of how computers work, I can explain it in a way that will make sense to him.
