[Ipg-smz] The 9/11 Thread

Fellow Guilders,

Nearly two decades later, I remember the traumas of 9/11, my friends in 
NYC & vicinity, and the subsequent madnesses.

Many times the lives lost that day were killed in subsequent military 
operations. The fear of weapons-of-mass-destruction exists to this day, 
instead of peace. Some have learned lessons, others are still waving The 
Mighty Swift Sword to and fro.

I hope you find peace on this day. My memories are still fresh of the 
traumas, but also of the rarefied moments, for a few weeks after the 
initial traumas, when we were One America. The current divisiveness 
means that the initial battle over the WTC, Pentagon, etc., still 
reverberate, its battle not yet over.

So many are dead, so much subsequent damage done.
