Did you check the additional items behind the up arrow? Or the Notifications area (the little speech bubble thingy at the far right of the taskbar)?

The WiFi button / icon has vanished from the right at my fingertips tray it's supposed to be at by default, next to the battery icon, etc. Anyone know how to get it back there so I don't have to search for it each time I need Wifi?
