[Ipg-smz] eBay vendors selling used laptops with Linux Mint installed

"Obsolete" is when the device in question doesn't fulfill my needs.

I changed cell phones twice in one year because the case for the first,
my Samsung 8S, kept breaking -- but the 10e's Otterbox keeps on
trucking. I'm thinking of putting the 8S up for sale on eBay, and let a
Tesla gigafactory worker purchase it.

My mail server has CentOS 4 loaded onto it, and the Dell box is still
running as good as it did when I first loaded the OS and fired up
PostFix. The oldest file I could find easily:

> -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 18568 Feb 21 2005 setserial

(The new mail server, still in construction, is a Dell laptop-in-a-tower
I picked up at a garage sale, to which I added a SSD drive, and will be
loaded with CentOS 7, but I'm not in a hurry.)

My laptops came from pawn shops, and I kick myself for missing an
Alienware by one day.

My main Etherswitch came from a recycled-computer shop. The two 48-port
Etherswitches on the shelf were cast-offs from $DAYJOB, as was the relay
rack in which the switches are mounted.

When I went car-shopping to replace the 1998 Toyota Sienna, I bought a
used 2019 Toyota Sienna. The latter went into storage when I broke four
toes and had to (have to still) wear an ortho boot -- because I could
still drive the older car better when booted than the new one. (Yes, I
now own TWO soccar-mom vehicles.) Besides, if I wreak the '98, the
vehicle is worth $850 Blue Book -- less loss.

I could go on.
