One of the KW founders was Fran Tarkenton, former NFL quarterback. At 
one point before Sterling bought them, KW was in big trouble: product 
wasn’t working well, customers were angry, etc. To try to appease one of 
them, they sent the customer an autographed football.

The customer sent it back with a knife in it.
