Simultaneously best and worst:

Way, way, way back in days of yore, GenRad (a tester company that ceased to
exist as an independent entity ~20 years ago) sent out live lobsters. I had
to buy a pot big enough to cook it in (I still have that pot), and it was
delicious. I cannot personally verify this, but several people told me that
one recipient was out of the country, and the lobster expired long before
the reporter got back. GenRad purportedly had to apologize to the rest of
the newsroom.
