True. Some of the ones we looked at were really flimsy. Our new one has a stainless steel tub and seems relatively sturdy, but time will tell.

You would be surprised how badly built the new ones are. I’ve had to replace 3 over a 5 year period.

As long as we don't put bones, gravel, or other non-puree-able waste into our 18-year-old dishwasher, we don't have to rinse dishes or pots at all. (Although, sour cream and cooked-on egg do seem to need some extra help.)
