A couple groups I'm in migrated from Yahoo to groups.io and I helped set
up a new group there. Based on a couple weeks experience on one list as
a subscriber and another as owner, I'm impressed. Both lists use free
service which is very configurable/flexible/friendly/reliable. They've
been overwhelmed by Yahoo escapees so now require paying for a year of
premium service IF a list is migrating archives (which they'll
facilitate) but new-from-scratch lists are free.
