[Ipg-smz] Recycling CDs & DVDs

Fellow Guilders,

Our local waste management district doesn't take CDs/DVDs. There are 
rare metals inside. I can understand.

Apparently, there are some art teachers that use them.

I am about to cast off over 2000+ CDs/DVDs. Any ideas who else uses old 
media? Not one of these is useful, unless you like XP, TechNet, and many 
burns that my lab did over the past 20yrs.

Practical ideas appreciated.

A note: I have used them glued to old pressboard to focus sun on my 
solar panels to optimize light reflection to the panels. This only works 
up to the saturation point of the panel, and although I didn't hurt the 
panel, I could've cooked it.
