LinkedIn is not very good at anything specific. I have a running search for LinkedIn to show me any jobs seeking “freelance technology writing” and it shows me jobs every day—typically about 20 a day—and not one ….. not ONE! …. has ever been someone actually seeking freelance technology writing. 

It’s every other kind of writing, but never tech writing. Indeed, the word “technology” rarely ever even appears in the ads. 

*sigh*
