I suggest that "tech" writer or "technical" writer gets far more and 
pertinent hits, this from anecdotal experience. The phrase "technology 
writer" is a bit too obtuse for the simplistic mind of their keyword 
matcher.

Search engines, even with boolean logic, stink. The worst: Amazon & Fleabay.
