As far as I can tell, technical writer would get responses that were even more irrelevant. I don’t do tactical manuals or other things that would be perceived as tech writing. I’m looking more for technology writing, such as writing corporate blogs for companies that are deep into technology. That is why I did not say tech writer or technical writer.
The truth is that this aspect of LinkedIn is unlikely to be helpful.
