I started off in International Relations with a minor in Spanish language
(I am fluent) and then went into Economics. Ended up doing IT stuff on Wall
Street as a consultant and eventually Unisys, IBM and Microsoft. And now in
Infosec. But been writing about computers since 1993 or so.
