I initially signed up for a speech communications major but switched to print journalism when I realized how poorly spoken I am.
Only class I ever bailed on was 400-level poli sci course on the Constitution by a real scholar because it ran at the same time as a mandatory journalism course that I had to take to graduate, and it was my last term. I was very sorry to do this because Professor Wood was the best poli sci professor at URI and I wanted to take that class. I can’t remember the mandatory journalism course but I sure wasn’t as enthusiastic to take it.

When I was in college, I transferred out of geology class after one week. After I heard the professor lecture about rocks for an hour,
I knew the class was not for me.
Then, as a mechanical engineering student, I learned that all third year engineering students were required to take accounting.
The very thought of accounting class makes my brain hurt. So, I transferred out of engineering and got a degree in liberal arts (majored
in philosophy.) If I need an accountant, I'll hire one, thank you.
Just curious, what class or major did you transfer out of?
