[Ipg-smz] Advice Needed: Cutting the Cord

As I said, Mac, when we last looked at it… that was a while back. I feel no reason to change from Hulu with Live TV. I get all the channels I want and I can time shift to my heart’s content. The DVR service pulls the episodes from their network apps so you get to watch many of them with no commercials at all. Alexa integration completes a nicely working system.
At some point all these differences will blur away as always. For now you just need to find something that delivers what you want.

Look again. My DirecTV via AT&T has DVR. Don’t know what channels you are missing. We pay extra for Netflix of course, and we added an AppleTV so we can subscribe to Titans .(live-action successor to cartoon Teen Titans) on Warner because my daughter writes episodes for it (!). She is good at action shows.)

When I last looked at DirecTV it didn’t have DVR capability and was missing several key channels. YouTube TV is great, but doesn’t run on a firestick and so does not integrate with my smarthome strategy. Hulu with Live TV is as good as YouTube TV and DOES run on firestick.
